Walkthrough Guidelines and Gaming Guidelines

The secret areas are not given a number in order to avoid confusion. The walkthroughs to the secret areas are marked with an asterisk*. However, if there is a lot of screens in a given secret area and you have to frequent them both rapidly, they will be labeled with a letter. If you have been playing Oddworld for a while, you can attend to those areas right away. If you are fairly a beginner, you can come back to those areas later.

Also, I will mark the areas you visit with a possessed Slig with a hyphen -.

These are some maneuvers you will have to master before starting:

Running Jump - press Space while pressing Shift + Left or Right Arrow Key (running)

Run/Roll - press Enter (or X if you are using the alternative position) while pressing Shift + Left or Right Arrow Key (running)

Running enter into door/well - Press Up as soon as you come out of the running mode, not during. This may take some practice.

These positions are the most advantageous while playing:
